RULES WHEN SIGNALLING ON THE ROAD

You must ensure that any signals you give are clearly visible. The hand Signals are as follows

• I am Turning Left

• Overtake me

• I am Stopping

• I am Turning right

• Move to the left- or right-hand side of the road prior to turning or stopping in order to allow other drivers to react in good time.

You may not use hand signals on a freeway, except in an emergency
